This is my 3rd year as Director of Football Operations for the Colts.

Casteel Football Director of Football Operations: Responsibilities and Expectations…

Monitors the academic progress of student athletes and ensures their playing eligibility; addresses issues or concerns with student athletes and head coach

Website (school and football) Development; including Facebook and Twitter

Keeps abreast of new regulations and relates or translates information as it affects football operations

Will stand in as participant during booster club meetings in the absence of Head Coach

Assists with CUSD Community Education Summer football camps on and off campus

Organizes and monitors Community Service Projects; Schedules student athlete community involvement to include school and hospital visits

Mentoring Program

Colt Time; Academic Coach

Performs coaching duties during practice sessions or games

Liaison for College Coaches visiting our players

Pre-Game Liaison between Visiting Team and Administration; creates game day itinerary

Attend Coaches & Booster meetings

Travel with team to all camps, clinics, road games, and other special events

Other duties may be assigned


The 2018-2019 school year will mark my 16th year as an educator, 11th in CUSD, and 4th at Casteel. My education experience spans grades 4-12. I am excited to be part of Dr. Camille Casteel High School, teaching 12th grade Government, Social Studies Dept. Chair, mentoring, and leading at CCHS.
